The PROKON suite of structural analysis and design software is developed by engineers for engineers. Used worldwide in more than eighty countries, the suite provides quick and reliable answers to everyday structural and geotechnical engineering problems:

  • Frame and finite element analysis.
  • Steel member and connection design.
  • Reinforced and prestressed concrete design.
  • Reinforced concrete detailing.
  • Timber member design.
  • Geotechnical analysis.

Frame Analysis

Frame gives you the freedom to design in a 2D or 3D environment. Design has never been so easy! The user can decide whether to use the classic input style of nodal input, or one of a number of input wizards. Graphical input is now also possible with the new graphical editor and modeler.

Commencing with version 2, Plane Frame, Grillage, Space Frame and Space Truss Analysis were consolidated into a single new module called Frame Analysis. The new program allows you to start with a two-dimensional analysis and then extend it to the third dimension at a later stage. All previous file formats of the older programs are supported.

Features such as graphical input and design links can now be used with plane frame and grillage models as well. Also, advanced features such as dynamic and buckling analyses can be performed with two-dimensional models. Frame can now also import both .DXF and .DWG files in 2 and 3 dimensions. Frame can also export files for use with AutoCAD Architectural Desktop.®
